WHAT IS THIS:

Huda Beauty Topaz Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette is packed with a selection of nine highly pigmented mattes and striking shimmers, all with a smooth and blendable texture.

Topaz has four duo-chrome and six matte shades in approachable earth and terra cotta tones.

Huda Beauty Topaz Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette is more of a mixed bag than I’d expect these types of shades to be since we have certainly seen numerous orange/copper/red-themed shades over the last few years. The matte formula was noticeably drier, though actual application showed them to be rather pigmented and easy to use, so while they felt one way, it only seemed to inhibit the wear a bit. The shimmer formula seems denser and creamier to the touch but then is harder to apply with dry brushes like a traditional eyeshadow due to the additional slip.

HOW TO USE:

  1. Blend the shadows seamlessly together, using darker shades in the crease, and lighter hues along the brow bone and inner corners of the eye.
  2. Using a smudge or liner brush, apply one of the darker shades along the top and bottom lash line.
  3. With your ring finger, or with fixing spray on an eyeshadow brush, apply the shimmer shade to the center of your eyelid to amp up the glamour.
